Real Muslim-Jewish Dialogue with Sheikh Omer Salem

Sheikh Omer Salem & Rav Yehuda HaKohen
How similar are the Hebrew and Islamic visions for the world? Can Jews and Muslims be partners in achieving our respective missions?

A criticism many people have with “interfaith dialogue” is that it often reduces the discussion to something like “none of us really know the truth, so let’s just commit to not fighting and enjoy a vegetarian meal.”

Participants in these interactions are generally so eager to find common ground and avoid conflict that nothing of substance actually gets discussed.

On The Next State podcast, Rabbi Yehuda HaKohen and Sheikh Omer Salem engage in a real unabashed Muslim-Jewish dialogue session to explore the roles of Islam in the Torah and the Children of Israel in the Quran.
